MBA provided the full structural and civil engineering design for this bespoke new dwelling overlooking the Cornish coastline. The structure was primarily formed from masonry but encompassed some areas of steel framing to accommodate the open plan spaces and longer spans where stability was required to withstand the exposed conditions.

MBA assisted the architect and client to gain full Building Regulations approval covering the structural elements with developed details which followed for construction purposes.

Our services continued on site throughout the contract with the main contractor where some assistance was provided to ensure compliance with the design.
